●Message： 私は、テキサスの大学を卒業後、帰国し日本で英会話講師、留学相談をしています。以前、アメリカで知り合ったオクラホマ在住のＳ子からメールがあり、オクラホマシティの語学学校でのＥＳＬ受講/アメリカ人宅のホームステイ1ヶ月間のプログラムがあると話しを持ちかけられ、私は地元で無料説明会を開き参加者を募集しました。親子で1組の参加者（Ｅ美）がいて、今年の8月にＥ美親子は渡米しました。私は渡米前にＥ美親子から受け取ったお金のうち、Ｓ子に渡す＄1700をＳ子の口座に振り込みました。 数日後、Ｅ美から電話があり、学校が始まらないとの事でした。Ｓ子は、当初予定していた、学校は予定が変わり、週に２，３回になった為、他の日は、知り合いのアメリカ人にプライベートレッスンをお願いすることにしたようでした。しかし、数日後電話で話すと、学校はコースがすでに終了していて、更に、知り合いのアメリカ人は病気で教えられないので、Ｓ子の旦那がＥ美に毎日4時間くらい英語を教えることになったといわれました。 その後、生活習慣の違いからいろいろもめたようでしたが、なんとか無事に生活をしているようでした。その後、Ｓ子から電話があり、Ｅ美は明日からアメリカ人の家庭にホームステイをすると連絡がありました。 しばらく何の連絡もありませんでしたが、Ｅ美親子が帰国してから、電話があり、話があるというので、Ｅ美と会いました。 すると、なんとＥ美はＳ子の旦那から1ヶ月の間に合計でたったの18時間しかレッスンを受けておらず、ホームステイにも行っていなかったのです。Ｓ子は私にウソを言っていたのです。＄１７００振り込んだのに、10万円分しか受け取っていないとＥ美に言い張り、残りのお金は私が盗んだとか、私がＥ美を騙したとか、嘘に嘘を重ね、挙句の果てに、私がうつ病だから何を言ってもわからないとかまで言い出しました。 結局、Ｅ美はＥＳＬもホームステイもできなかったのだから、払ったお金を返して欲しいとのことでした。私はその時初めて、ホームステイに行っていなかったことを知り、全額を返しました。 その後、Ｓ子に＄1700の返金を求めましたが、連絡はありません。友達だと思って、Ｓ子を信じていましたがこんな形で騙され、裏切られるなんて本当にショックでした。 実は、以前アメリカにいたとき、Ｓ子は自分の家に下宿させていた日本人の大学生と手をつないているのを偶然見てしまったことがあります。その時は何も言いませんでしたが、もしかしたら、平気で嘘をついたり、若い大学生と関係を持ったりと、少し病的な人なのではないかと感じるようになりました。他の友達からも聞きましたが、以前にも大学生と何かもめたことがあるらしいのです。他にも私のように騙された人がいるのではないでしょうか？ Ｓ子は自分は留学コーディネーターを7年やっているベテランだと言っています。オクラホマシティ北西地域に住み、4人の子供がいます。子供の1人は糖尿病です。ここで名前を公表するのは控えますが、これ以上被害者が出て欲しくはないので、メールを頂けたら、Ｓ子の情報を送ります。気をつけてください。
